With less than 10 hours to go until the Royal Wedding, excitement is building between both young and old. The romance seems to have truly captured the nation and of course the world. All eye's will of course be on Kate's dress. We are hearing rumours of lace and that the dress will be quite plain and simple, we wait in anticipation. William and Kate have had a very much hands on approach with the wedding plans and decisions. An army of florists have been busy preparing for the big day, Truck loads of flowers have been arriving. 3 Top Florists have designed the floral arrangements including Simon Lycett who of course designed the flowers for Charles and Camilla's wedding.All the flowers being used are of course British. The theme is english country style, trying to create the outside in. We expect to see White Roses, Lilly of the Valley and magnolias. Tradition has seen quite large trailing bouquets. Another tradition that has been followed since 1845 is the sprig of myrtle that will be incorporated into her bouquet. This will come from Queen Victoria's personal garden at Osborne House, Isle of Wight. A nosegy of myrtle was given to Queen Victoria by Prince Alberts mother on their wedding day. She planted the sprig in the gardens at Osborne House and the tradition has continued ever since. We are sure whatever the weather, The style of Dress,Flowers,Hair or Jewellery that the bride will look stunning. May we wish them a happy and long life together. Happy Bank Holiday!!!!
